Anthea Tan (b. 1991) is a visual artist from Singapore who is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree at the LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts and majoring in Drawing. As an artist, she has participated in the exhibition Pameran Poskad at My Art Space and has also exhibited a mural work at the LASALLE-SIA campus. Work aside, Anthea enjoys living the nerd life by sitting in front of her laptop tapping away or with her nose buried in a good book.

Anthea is constantly questioning the way the universe functions, and dispels her occasional confusion through the creation of art, embodying each piece with whimsical or poignant tendencies. The series Bird-Eyed, for example, encompasses the personal theory that humans are birdlike, arriving and leaving as and when they wish with the flap of their wings whereas a subsequent series, Hybrids, creates awareness on the impending doom faced by most animals due to excessive poaching and deforestation.
