Mural Painting at Mdm Lim's Home
On 25th June 2013, SCYA went to Mdm Lim’s newly renovated house in Serangoon Gardens to paint her bedroom wall to a photograph of her favourite scenery in Hokkaido. The wall painting was inspired by a photograph of the landscape in Biei, Hokkaido, Japan. Biei is known for the beautiful flowers, wines and grapes. Mdm Lim described her experience there as one of her memorable trips to Japan and wishes to recreate that memory with the wall painting. SCYA had Jacquelyn and Wan Xiang to draw and paint out the landscape of the photograph. Mdm Lim was happy and satisfied with the result!
