Okto's Singapore Supersize Tv Programme
- Jacquelyn Soo & Li-Cassidy from SCYA collaborated with Okto Tv Channel in creating a Light Art Installation for a tv series called, “Singapore Supersize!” Singapore Supersize is a way to close the distance between communities and art. By bringing the community together with artists, the challenge of the programme was to come up with a collaborative art piece within a short time frame of 2-3 days and with limited resources. The programme and idea was to provide heartlanders a different perspective in bringing and bridging art and ideas of expression in their daily living. The episode was shot largely at Jurong Lake as the chosen public space where general activities of play and leisure are exercised. The challenge was then to see how a group of people can work in large numbers together to create an installation work.
